About Us

Our Mission

At NoKnot Lacrosse, our mission is to give all players control over their lacrosse stick by simplifying stick stringing.

We estimate that fewer than 10% of players know how to string a stick. That means that 90% of players are relying on someone else to get their pocket the way they want it, whether that's the team's sole "stick doctor" or a company that charges handsomely. But the best players are those who have their pocket "dialed in" relative to their mechanics and play style. So 90% of players are putting their game in someone else's hands.

We created NoKnot to change that — to give all players control over their game.

Our Journey

In 2019, Jacob came to Alex with an idea for a product to make stringing a lacrosse stick easier. By some stroke of divine luck, they found Mike, an amazing product designer who worked on this exact problem at a major lacrosse equipment company. The three of us then spent half a decade sketching, prototyping, testing, and cursing (mostly cursing).

Our flagship product, the NoKnot, is the result of rigorous testing and refinement. We've explored over 100 different concepts, and we didn't stop until we were confident that our product was functional, intuitive, and user-friendly.

This commitment to our mission is reflected in our design process, which prioritizes ease of use, convenience, and flexibility.
